Ready.
This software is for facilitating fun & development, with nets of mid80 -- even at the kindergarten level.
I especially note about that kindergarten-level, not only because human-interface studies (or example, that for GUI @ XEROX), had worked with children, first. I want to point out also the gross neglect about a plagiarism case, the copycat82. Thus, I have double-motivation to aim toward facilitating the fun & thinking of the children (cf. the "Emperor's New Clothes" case, too.)
mid80 is valuable for a mazing experience. Follow this-and-that token (that is, information) running around, having their attribute-list transformed at this-or-that transition, this time cooperating, the next time in rivalry, etc.
There is a tongue-in-cheek sense of the software-title "mid80".com (pun, for resembling my surname, Midyat, although I have not invented the stuff), as well as the telling of the true case that, I have gathered&programmed, what other people had published (as the academic literature), before the middle of 1980 (when "July 1" was yet to arrive the stage). The pun-joke is that, the plagiarism (& errors!) of copycat82, was in 1982 (& w/o software).
Was that O.K. to grant a Ph.D. title to copycat82, and to publish copycat83 in an IEEE journal ?!?
In contrast & fairness to me, notice that, although in the name of authenticity (for mid80.com) I do not improve the prior art (net-formalism literature), I have a lovely text-mode "graphics" interface.
A "retro" interface ("choose a letter/number" type, a few menues/spreadsheets, optional mouse). A fitting/wise computer-human-interface, for authenticity (as if programming in 1982/83), as well as for keeping mid80.com familiar to both old/1970s people, and new (kindergarten monsters).
They are modular, and with a firmware-customization capability, too. Fitting for a fold&mold toy. Think of a toy-train, around the house. The firmware, is the software operating the machine, module-by-module. Fitting for planning your circuit, within a computer, too -- until the final shape is achieved. A valuable cause, for modeling.
The prior art for mid80 (from Petri lit., NN73, VD78, Da80, SARA, etc.) is there for all. Thus, not suggesting any monopoly of mine, at all. I think, we will have a large market for robotic/software fold&mold. Standardizable, so that our systems (toys from various companies) work friendly, as computers carry a lot of such accessories.
I started these to point out a grossly ignorant plagiarism. To expect the academia to correct that, is frustrating. I have thought I could let even pre-teens, and even, inshaellah, the kindergarteners to learn all these, and notice the obvious plagiarism -- not to even mention the immense level of faultfulness of that plagiarist text.
A good point of this strategy is that, I have a chance to rate who is understanding these, with a test (the way I favor, the formaze achievement-rating framework). After that, you may learn the name of the plagiarist text.
The following software is NOT a full version of mid80.com, yet. The first, face-showing presentation, is this. Simply, go (with space-bar) through a running version of the NN73 Fig.2 (in text-mode graphics, with no extra).
Even this example is immensely valuable, though, for educating your intuition, if I may tell a few model-abstraction stories that I have thought (cf. TAT testing) around this. Try making up your stories. For example,
In a firmaze-five story, the X-transition is the firm/master, while J-transition is a human-resource / project-approve type -- mediating among the fruitful/inventor thinking people, and the firm/money. T-transition is test or marketing function. Y is standing for your-gain (why a firm is, for the World).
In contrast, as an evil-crew scenario (e.g: the antichrist, satan, or KGB), think of thought-manipulators, who have crafted terrorism with that. Literature (fact, as well as fiction) is full of such reports & tales. In this case, the crew does not need the wisdom that firmaze-five would need. The evil crew being stealthy, they tinker & mess. The (negative) X-transition would fit the anti-christ, while Y is your-pain, the agonies of the people of the World. In this case, all of the J- and some of the T-transitions being members of the evil crew. J-transition(s), the satanical-operator(s), tinkering with the thoughts of fault-finding (field-master) people. T-transition is terror&corruption (e.g: a puppet-terrorist may go hurt other people, that is, a victim/puppet (trying) to hurt other victims. If F-transition may help/inform Y enough (more than the (negative) J-transition sucked from F, then Y-transition is able to block out any offenses of T-transition, right out. (If F and T arrive at the same time, F has the priority, and after that, Y is cautiously nullifying any input (bomb/etc.) of any evil T. That is, nullify/sift the token-attributes. No evil passes through.)

In the following text box, there is the batch file to generate the mid80.com. You may copy it to the clipboard and save it on your harddisk (with the file name for a batch file. For example, "runme.bat"). Then, run it by double-clicking on it (or, you may also enter the name of the batch file at the MSDOS-command-prompt).
This batch file generates mid80.com by redirecting itself through the standard DOS program DEBUG which converts the text file into a binary (executable) file.
The debug.com must be accesible while the batch file is running. (Most usually, it is in the directory "c:\windows\command\" and probably no problems will occur, because that directory is already in the path, in most configurations).
