forget     \\

To forget a range of text, within a valid line of form@fix, the forget (comment-out) operator is here. A valid line must have only form@fix code, accept those within a forgotten-range. For example,

\r refer0 \\forget at tail
\r refer1 \\forget at middle \'Not to forget!'
\\forget at head	\r! refer2

...This is not a valid line...

A forget-range is terminated by the first-next backslash-character, \ - if not at the end-of-line, or end-of-file.
