batch file for holding executable/binary files

I have published form@fix, and frozen@mid80 in the form of a batch file that poduces the executable file.

The batch file is on a web page, in a text box. You may copy it to the clipboard and save it on your harddisk (with the file name for a batch file. For example, "runme.bat"). Then, run it by double-clicking on it

or, you may also enter the name of the batch file at the MSDOS-command-prompt.

That product-specific batch file produces the executable (fix.com, or mid80.com) by redirecting itself through the standard DOS program DEBUG (debug.com) which converts the text file into a binary (executable) file.

debug.com must be accessible while the batch file is running.

Most usually, that is in the directory "c:\windows\command\" and probably no problems will occur, because that directory is in the path, in most configurations.

.bat vs. txt The file must be recognized as a batch file, not a text file, or other. If your system-configuration does not show file-extensions, you may tell that the file is a batch file, by any of the following strategies
